Hunting Tools – Terms of use of the sharing service

Effective 12 October 2026

These terms apply to the sharing service at api.huntingtools.net, operated by Tomáš Stejskal, Czech Republic ("the operator"). The app itself works without an account; the terms concern only what you do once you create one.

The service

The service lets members of a hunting ground share saved places, kills, sightings and their presence at a stand with one another, in groups joined by invitation. It is provided free of charge, as it is, for private use by hunters. The operator may change or end the service at any time; where reasonably possible, you will be told in advance through the app or the web site.

Your account

Your content

What you share stays yours. By sharing it with a group you allow its members to see and, for places, to edit it, and you allow the operator to store and transmit it for that purpose and nothing else. Share only what you have the right to share, and only lawful content. Do not upload material that is unrelated to hunting, that infringes someone's rights, or that is offensive. Photos of people need their consent.

No warranty

The service may be unavailable, slow or lose data, for example through a failure of the server or its hosting. Keep the app's own backup of your data. The operator is not liable for damage arising from the use of the service or from its unavailability, as far as the law allows. Nothing in the app or the service is legal advice; hunting seasons, records and reports are shown for orientation, and the law in force is decisive.

Fair use and removal

The service is meant for the ordinary use of a hunting app. Accounts that send automated traffic, store unrelated files or disturb other users may be limited or removed. Groups whose members have all gone are deleted after a year of inactivity.

Privacy

How your data is handled is described in the privacy policy.

Changes and law

Changed terms will be published at this address with a new effective date; continued use after that date means you accept them. Czech law applies.
