Deleting your Hunting Tools account

An account exists only if you turned on sharing in the app. Everything else the app keeps is on your phone and goes with the app when you uninstall it or clear its data.

In the app

1. Open the Log tab, tap the person icon, then Sharing.
2. At the bottom of the sharing screen, tap Delete account and confirm.

The account is removed from the server at once, together with the kills and sightings you shared with your groups and your presence. The places you shared stay with their hunting ground, since the group edits them together. A group you manage passes to another member; a group with nobody else in it is deleted with all its data. Nothing on your phone is removed.

Without the app

If you no longer have the app, write to tom.stejskal@gmail.com from the address on the account, or with the username, and the account will be deleted within a few days. The same address answers requests for a copy of the data stored about you.

What remains

Server backups are overwritten within 30 days; server logs with your IP address within 14 days. Records of yours that other members' phones have already downloaded are marked deleted on the server, and their phones remove them at their next sync.
